NIMBLE is progressing in achieving its vision (see previous newsletter or visit our website). Three key technology deliverables have been released: platform Architecture Specification and Component Design, core Platform Infrastructure, design of an Open API for the NIMBLE Platform.).
Platform Architecture Specification and Component Design: This published document explains in detail the architecture of the proposed platform including main aspects driving it and the way the proposed design will enable achieving the ambitious goals set out in the proposal. In addition, the main ideas and interactions are demonstrated through the introduction of the platform as viewed by the main stakeholders, as well as by mapping the intended use-cases to the proposed architecture.
Core Platform Infrastructure: This published document accompanies the demonstration of the first integrated NIMBLE platform. In this prototype, an initial set of core capabilities planned within the platform are already in place. The platform will go through iterative phases of continuous development deployment and integration, until the final version of the platform which will also include a set of advanced services that go beyond the basic B2B functionality initially offered.
Design of an Open API for the NIMBLE Platform: The main goal of this deliverable is to specify the externally visible interfaces of the NIMBLE platform, focusing on the externally visible Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The connection between the API and internals of the platform is described.
In addition, NIMBLE partners started defining the framework for the future sustainability of the platform with respect to the collaboration- and business models and identifying the key values of the proposed solution:
AMBASSADOR Programme and Community Creation
The project initiative for engaging with potential early adopters has started and arranged 2 dedicated workshops (1 in Sweden and 1 in Spain) where NIMBLE objectives and mock-ups have been presented to collect feedback and validate requirements. So far, thanks to programme, NIMBLE has already engaged with 35 companies. In addition, we performed interviews with companies and organisations contacting the NIMBLE project office through the project dissemination channels.
